Train Station

I see the improvements at Plumstead station cost £50,000....Why yes it does look smarter but apart from the addition of a wheelchair ramp I can't really see that it has added any benefit.
Plus what use is a wheelchair ramp when there are still only stairs down to the actual platforms?
There was plenty of space for a retail outlet to have been built alongside the ticket office but so far this seems to be just a disused space..

  1. I don't think it's a wheelchair ramp - I think it's there for cycle riders. Which is cool for them but pants for either wheelchair or push chair users.

  2. The removal of two steps for cyclists?? Surely they can lift a bike and people with pushchairs could have coped with the previous steps.
Wouldn't want to be in a wheelchair around London, must be so limited on stations you can use and imagine how you navigate the pavements once you are above ground!!
