Eltham Leisure Centre
is still closed. I called up to find out when it might be reopening but the lady on the phone didn't have a clue. What a shame as I really can't bring myself to use the one in Woolwich or Maze Hill, both are far too skanky.
I know it's so pants. But then again, wouldn't want to get into a swimming pool with known faults. Have you been to Crook Log opposite Danson Park. Hubby has been taking tot there swimming - not as nice as Eltham but as you say, not skanky. You can get there quickly going via the Bostal Hill side.
Hello. Yes I have been there indeed, but how do you get there going via the Bostall Hill Side (Where is this) Is there a road I don't know of. Really what I could do with is just driving around the area a bit more rather than just following the usual paths I take. Same with walking, if it wasn't for those pesky hills in Plum Village I would be off rambling even more!
Plumstead High street, keep going towards Abbey Wood, keep going and you see green park land on the left and woods on the right.Turn right on Brampton Road, go right to the end and the leisure centre is on the left.
