Haircuts

How is it possible to have so many hairdressers in Plumstead. Every second shop on the High Street offers haircuts for a fiver..still there is room for an Iceland in amongst all the hair shavings..

    There are quite a lot and they seem to extend all the way to Abbey Wood. But strangely, the people along the street don't seem particularly well coiffured.
    I did laugh at the Union Jack Barbers on Lakedale Road with their very subtle Union Jack hoarding which replaced the quiet Turkish barbers that were previously there for a very short time.

    I know I saw that this morning, very funny, I wonder if they will have a nice array of pictures in the window depicting English haircuts as opposed to all the ones with African haircuts (although very 80's, rather like Fresh Prince)...Also I wonder if they will also charge a fiver, like everywhere else. I might send the husband off to investigate!
