this week I have been buying some plants for the pots in the garden. Now the snow has gone I am a bit fed up of seeing empty pots so I hoping for some early spring flowers. I am no gardener so actually I just hope they grow. I am also continuously on the hunt for plants for the garden that kill, sorry i mean scare, cats! Grr. Get off my land.
Thompsons Garden centre just over Shooter's Hill is a firm favourite for a bit of flower purchasing.

Thompsons is great. If you have time to go further afield check out Ruxley Manor as it's amazing. But make sure you have lots of time to get there.
ReplyDeleteAs for cats...they can't be beaten.I've tried so many ways and none work as there is still poo in my garden. Though having said that, the snow/hard cold ground seems to have kept them at bay. A neighbour did comment that it may not be cats pooing but foxes. That's stumped me as I have no idea how to get rid of them.
We definitely have foxes as I am forever filling in fox holes (either that or we have Wombles or Fraggles)....I have put some pepper down recently, figuring that seeing as we are not playing in the garden at this time of year it won't end up in tots eyes and the cats might have got the hint by spring!
ReplyDeleteFraggles. I love the fraggles. :)
